Speakers not being seperated? Thetranscript is just creating one big paragrph of multiple peoples sp

Hi everyone, a VERY frustrated school teacher here, my class are all ready and set up to record their podcasts (where they interview a famous person), we also have premium access. When the interviewer asks a question it records perfectly, however when the interviewee tries to answer it adds to the original already recorded transcript and just extends the first part of the speech? It doesn't give a new speaker - new line?

We noticed that we only got multiple speakers if each was on their own computer signed in. If they are using the same interface on one computer it will not separate the names of the people. Essentially you have to invite someone via email and then they accept and use their own computer. Does not work the best if they are in the same room as there is a lag time so you hear them speak but you end up talking over them before it comes across the recording. We are using a sound board with multiple microphones. So all of my audio just says my name not my guests. I hope this helps.
