Adobe XD Crashes on Opening

Hi Guys,

 I have Adobe XD through my school license and I have just installed it on to my  Home PC. For some reason when I open up Adobe XD. It opens to the home/launch screen and then within seconds in closes down. I was using it the day before, I saved my work and closed the program and shut my PC down. the next day  when i tried to open XD, it opens to the home/launch screen and then within seconds in closes down. I've tried a few fixes like resetting the app, reinstalling the app and restarting my Home PC. I have Photoshop installed on my Home PC and that works fine. It's just Adobe XD that doesn't seem to be working.
