Adobe XD Fonts missing and design is not matching up to others

Hello,

I have been using XD recently because a customer provided there Design for me to develop using this software.   I quickly noticed that the design on my computer was not matching up to how things should look.  position of certain shapes and some text not being there.  ( I was able to verify this when contacting the design team )

I noticed it said 6 fonts missing.  I received the fonts around 8 different variety of Ricardo in .otf format and installed them. (still the missing fonts msg remains)  I can verify they are installed on my system properly.    I think maybe the missing fonts is what is making the design not being accurate and shapes and objects being out of place.

I do not know what to do now.. Now I cannot trust any XD files I receive  and have to resort to asking the design team to export to a pdf.  This is really annoying as I cannot use the export features etc.

Has anyone had issues with inaccurate designs and trouble like this.???? Its just awful I would appreciate any help!

I am running window 10 fully updated.

I am not sure if this is the reason behind your issues, but can you have a look at this feature request to see if this is what could be the reason? Support Opentype font features – Adobe XD Feedback : Feature Requests & Bugs

If so, can you upvote the feature request to stay tuned to the latest updates and announcements?

Thanks,

This is not the reason unfortunately as the design team who is sending me the xd files can verify everything looks proper and is in the right place on there end.

Just to check - are you on Mac or Windows? And when you close/reopen the document, does the same "font missing" dialog pop up?
