After updating to XD 45.1 version on macOS, all the plugin are removed.

The latest update of XD (45.1.63.3, MacOS) removed all of my plugins. Has anyone else experienced this issue? This is the second time since using XD that an update has removed all plugins. It's extremely annoying and there is no record, as far as I'm aware, of what plugins I had installed previously. So now I have to search through the *new* plugin manager (which is awful, by the way) to try and remember/find the ones I had installed previously.

 

Is there any workaround to this?

Hi, I installed 45.1.62.3 version and when I go to plugins, nothing is there.

We are sorry to hear that all your installed plugins are missing in XD. We've seen similar issue reported here: https://community.adobe.com/t5/adobe-xd-discussions/after-updating-to-xd-45-1-version-on-macos-all-the-plugin-are-removed/td-p/12532258

 

We would request you to please try the suggested steps and let us know if that helps. 

 

If it doesn't, then please generate logs and upload them to a shared location such as CC or Dropbox and share the URL with me over a private message.

 

We'll try our best to investigate the issue.

I installed the same plugins 3-4 times now and it's still getting uninstalled after closing and opening the app. Somebody, please help me.

Hi there,

 

We're so sorry to hear about the trouble. Could you confirm the version of XD and OS? Is this happening with a specific plugin or multiple plugins? If you have the latest version of XD which is 45.1, please collect and share system logs with us so that we can investigate it further.

Sorry for the trouble. We would like to know if you have tried uninstalling XD and reinstalling? Please also trying uninstalling Creative Cloud Desktop app and reinstalling?

 

How many plugins are missing?

Hello,

since the update to the newest Version 45.1.62.3 of Adobe XD I am unable to use or to download XD-Plugins. Are all Plugins currently hiatus or is there a problem with the version of XD?
Every time, I try to add new Plugins I get something like "Compatible Program necessary". Plugins do not show up in the Plugin menu.


PS: Providing full Change Logs even for small Updates would be awesome Adobe.
