Repeat Grid - Reverse Direction?

I'm wondering wether I can change the direction of a repeat grid? IE can it only be pulled out to the right and down?

it is mysterious why the team behind XD limited that for two directions.

Anyway, you can activate the repeat grid, then type into the right sidebar a value of 180 for rotation.

that's a little hack to get there.
