Hi,I was wondering if it was possible to integrate the complete Air SDK (and also the Flex SDK) as part of a paid software that I'm developing right now (meaning, provide with the sdk in the installation package). Or If I need to ask users to download it afterwards. And/or if using the SDK as part of a paid software is even permitted.I know it must be written somewhere in a license document but I tried to read one of those and it's just impossible to read everything that is inside and I can't be certain that I understand exactly what is being said as English is not my first language (and especially not that very specific/technical english)Thanks a lot.

At the moment I can find no way to (manually or otherwise) add an entire folder to the package / bundle using pathing that's relative to the project directory using AIR 13.0.0.111 and Flash CC. The "Add Folder" icon invokes some custom Adobe file browser that does not have an address bar or any means of text entry, and there is no option to use the standard windows dialog instead.If there's a workaround, I'd like to hear it. If not, I'd love to get this request to the AIR / Flash team and have it addressed in a forthcoming update. Where's the right place to do that?

After downloading the Adobe Air Installer, and clicking install it takes all of 5 seconds to finish and then says that Adobe Air is installed. No shortcut is created and the Adobe air folder is created in %appdata% but is blank and just has the directories and no files. Also Adobe Air comes up in the control panel under uninstall programs but has no file size.

Hey Devs and support,we have recently faced a problem which seems to be a bug, let me explain what happens as simple as I can. below I explain one situation that the problem occurs but it does happen in different scenarios that we tested, but do the following and you'll see the problem for yourself...if you are building an adobe air app which is in landscape mode and auto rotate is false which means that the air app should always stay in landscape mode. now, in the app, you have an air native extension which works with Camera and inside the iOS extension, you are setting the app delegate to always portrait with no auto rotation. ok?the expected behavior (which works perfectly fine with lower air SDK versions and the problem is with iOS 64-bit and AIR 16 only) is that when you start your camera extension, the camera view should be in portrait mode. this is ok till here, but as soon as you close the extension to return to your flash app, you can see that the stage alignment is totally me

Hey, So I wanted to test an app on Xcode 7/iOS 9 beta and I'm getting this error. I'm using flash builder 4.7 btw.Error occurred while installing the application:Unknown or unsupported SDK version: /Applications/Xcode-beta.app/Contents/Developer/Platforms/iPhoneSimulator.platform/Develo per/SDKs/iPhoneSimulator.sdkIt runs fine on iOS 8 simulator. So does this mean that air 18 doesn't run on iOS 9? Sorry I don't have an actual device to install iOS 9 on.

The documentation for Flash Text Engine library states that there is a way to create a  sub-run of text. I want for example, to be able to style part of line. In ye olde TextField this is easy to do because you call SetTextFormat() on a range of characters. But in the fancy Flash Text Engine, although the documentation says it is possible i don't see how to do it. There must be a way to add multiple textElements into a block, and have them rendered into lines as one might expect. I am prepared for example, to create a few words in an underlined text with a different font and color, to create element #1 (prior to style override), element #2 (containing the style override), and element #3 (back to default style). I don't mind that at all, but i can't tell you how many web pages Iooked at and can't find a single example of someone using FTE to do what I consider basic text formatting. Since TLF uses FTE, it must be possible.any help is greatly appreciated.

I ran into an odd issue today, I created a build using AIR 18 and was getting undefined for File.cacheDirectory. In my build parameters, I only had -target-player 18.0. I added a -swf-version parameter (=20), which I hadn't had to do with AIR 15, then it worked. BTW, I am compiling on Windows Vista 64-bit with the v1 AS compiler. I am in the process of moving my development to the v2 AS compiler, maybe that will solve this issue.-jonathan

Can anyone confirm that if you save user data using SharedObjects, when the app is updated through the apple store, the SharedObject is persisted and the user will not lose all their data?Can you think of any conditions where that data would be lost (eg: app id change, app version change...?)

Android StageWebView  input file problem?I have form in website<form action="upload.php"  enctype="multipart/form-data" method="post">    <input type="file" name="file1" accept="image/*" />    <input type="submit" name="submit" value="submit" /></form>In IOS I click input file in StageWebView. It show ImagePicker for upload fine, It's work.In Android I click input file in StageWebView. It not happen , It's not work!! (Android 4.x.x I try more device...it same not work all)But I change to test my page in android browser. It work , it show list program  open file for upload.Question : In Android I cannot upload file from website by StageWebView? or It can do that but use other solution?Please help me.Thanks.

Air App - Slow on Android, Super Fast on iOS why? how can i fixed performance issue on android?

Recently it was announced that Google will now block Flash by default ... making an end to all flash video and flash banner ads as the publishers of this content will not use it since users would be required to "Click to view".This will obviously be a huge hit to Adobe and the sales of their tools due to people switching to HTML5 for video and ads. Do you think Adobe will continue to support it for the people that enjoy using their tools for app development?  It's very interesting.

I have an air application that I am packaging for iOS. If the target is ipa-debug-interpreter or ipa-test-interpreter the app works just fine. However, any other target it crashes when trying to use assets. I have seen the following exception: [Fault] exception, information=ReferenceError: Error #1065: Variable FlexVersion is not defined.Fault, SpriteAsset() at SpriteAsset.as:131 131               if (appDomain.hasDefinition("mx.core::FlexVersion"))Other times it will crash with no stack. Why would it only work when the target includes interpreter? Any thoughts would be helpful!Thanks!

Hi All,I'm developing a Native Extension for Adobe AIR and it relies on Google Play being available. I think I have two options:A. Ask the developer including the native extension in their app to also link in the Google Play libraryB. Include the Google Play library inside the native extension itself.If I were to do B, would it create a problem where another Native Extension might also have the Google Play library built-in?Which way is the recommended way to go?Many thanks,_ michael

Hi,I am working in Flash Professional and AIR 18 but since yesterday I got "Missing Push Notification Entitlement" message in my mail when I upload my app. I thought it was only a message to ignore because the upload worked fine and It's possilbe to make prerelases. When try to download my app in Testflight It doesn´t work it just continuing loadin and loading and never stop.

Hi,I work for InMobi and the task is to build ANE for Adobe AIR platform.We are in the process of releasing new SDK for which I need to update my existing ANE.I was able to build the ANE successfully after making changes to my Android Native code (and the changes were mostly API name change).Below are the steps which I followed to build my ANE:1. Made API changes to my Android Native code2. Used "Export it to Jar" option in Eclipse to get the jar out of it.3. Made sure the InMobi SDK Classes are present in the Native Code jar. (extracting the InMobi SDK jar and manually putting it on Native Code jar by "jar -uf <NativeCode.jar> com" command)4. Used the "adt" command from Adobe to build the ANE.ANE got build successfully. Then i imported the built ANE to my test app developed on Adobe Flash Builder. When I make a call to loadBanner(function exposed by my ANE) which internally calls "Banner" class in my native Android code which uses the InMobi SDK classes, in the LogCat of eclipse
