Hello,I'm developing an app which should transfer files to the web server over FTP protocol. For this purpose, I am using Socket class and communication works without any troubles. I am able to connect to the server, login and then download from or upload files to the server.Now I want to implement secure connection over SSL too using SecureSocket class but I'm having issues to even establish connection with the server. I use ProFTPD on Debian with TLS v1.2 and a let's encrypt certificate.But, for some reason I cannot connect to it over SecureSocket class at all. When I try to connect, I'm always getting error below, with certificate status as "invalid":Error #2031: Socket Error. Apps on iOS device simply quits when Scout with memory tracking is on. The same happens with air debug player. This problem only happens when memory tracking is turned on in Scout. I'm using the latest Air 31.

Hi,I'm trying to figure out a way to create a native windows executable which runs without security prompts and has access to both it's own resources (i.e. read from sub-folder) and writing to local filesystem (i.e. Downloads or Documents) via user prompt.Is this possible with AIR? I'm getting all confused with what is allowed and what methods are allowed with what (Flash, AIR, Javascript, etc.).Do I need to get my app signed some special means to not bring up security prompts?I do not want to create an installer, but a single .exe (and sub-folder) that user can distribute freely.Think of 80-year-old grandma running the app and selecting pdfs in the app to save to Desktop... without network access.Thanks,PJ

I've a project that has a ton of video.  For years I've never really gotten silky smooth video from AIR apps utilizing StageVideo, or StageWebView, and just lived with it.These 'moves' are a lot of turns and the 'little bumpiness' is more obvious than usual.Has anyone found encoding settings for 720p and 1080p that produce smooooth video playback?I've tried nearly every variation in Adobe Media encoder with no luck.  I would be willing to use another encoding package if required.GTX 1070, so it's not the card.Thanks

What I'm seeing: I am running an Adobe AIR/Starling game that's using quite a few ANEs (Google Play Service, Google Games, Game Center, Facebook, Firebase, MoPub, etc). The method count is well past 64k so the apk ends up with 4 dex files meaning that I have to enable the reflection based dex loading on Android API <= 19. When I launch on such a device I get 20+ seconds of black screen until Adobe AIR finally loads and puts something on screen. I understand that this is clearly being caused by the slow unpacking of the dex files but atm I can't do much about that method count. I've been trying to get this black screen replaced with some kinda of loading screen even just a prolonged splash image but to no avail. I'll run through what I've tried...1. We have a multi-window Flex app which uses requestedDisplayResolution=high.When a native window of the app is moved from one monitor to another monitor with adifferent display-scaling, all contents of all windows will scale, instead of onlythe contents of the window which was moved.Is there any workaround for this issue?Can this issue be considered as a bug?I have thought of a self-made solution by checking the contentsScaleFactor (and working with that as scale) for each window but unfortunately, this property of the stage seems to only be able to have one value, which seems to be the value of the stage of last Window which was moved from montitor to monitor.

I'm trying Animate CC's own Publish test thing.. "Install application on the connected iOS device", using my phone (same results with ipad).The device IDs have been added to the apple developer account to be used for testing and before creating p12 file etc.I keep getting this error with all devices:"The device has encountered an unexpected error. INstallation Error: PackageExtractionFailed."From googling this error, it's been really hard to get an answer for what it could mean.  One person said it was a known glitch and the file might be corrupt?I have "device testing" selected and i had made a development provisioning profile..(for what it's worth, I tried with Flash Professional CS6 as well and the result was the same)So then I tried the iTunes way.  I already got the older version of iTunes needed to show 'Apps'.  It seemed like it was going to work, but the app starts to install on the device but the icon remains darkened and nothing happens when I click on it.&nbsp

Hey Folks,I work at a publisher for mobile games, we have some AIR games in our portfolio and need to make sure that all our apps comply with the new european GDPR law and accompanying Google and Apple software policies. This means that mobile apps cannot make ANY network calls without first informing the user why they are needed and we need to ask for explicit permission first. However, whenever we start one of our AIR apps on a mobile device it automatically makes a network call to https://airdownload2.adobe.com. Can anyone tell me what this call is for and how we can disable it? If we cannot disable it then we may have to pull all our AIR apps from Google Play and the iOS app store since cannot risk any lawsuits, so an answer would be much appreciated.Thanks!

All native UI elements must use styles from the Material/AppCompat palette (e.g. Widget.Material…, Widget.AppCompat... or ?android:attr/...). Failing to adopt the new theming or design patterns can cause users to perceive the app as dated or non-standard.Is anybody there already using the modern themes? Do I understand it well, that I must include the support library (with dependencies) and all the resources? It looks like quite bloat as it could be several MB just for simple yes/no dialogs:/
