Question

Integrated Ryzen GPU doesn't work?!

Hi to all.

I have just bought a mini pc with AMD Ryzen 7 5800H and AMD Radeon Vega 8.
Modeler doens't start, because it requires a discrete GPU and not integrated one.

I'm not into windows pc. I buy it just for use with Substance software.

So, my gpu is integrated? It's not possible to use Modeler with it? Could I hope in future upgrades?

Please, advice me.

Mario

Hi,

Unfortunately, the Vega 8 is an integrated card. Modeler does require a discrete graphics card with at least 4GB of VRAM. You can find the minimum specs for Substance Modeler at https://substance3d.adobe.com/documentation/md/system-requirements-225971098.html
It is unlikely that the requirements will be lowered.
