I have the same problem of another user I've seen. After upgrade of Animate 2021, it crashed with MacBook Pro 0S 10.15.7.

What can I do?

    Hi @Lazzari @Angelo5FBF @francescot / All

We have identified that this is happening due to one or more corrupted fonts present in the machine. Loading of such fonts during application startup leading to the crash. We are working on a fix for this and will let you know as soon as there is an update.

    Thanks!

@Mohanaraj ...hi i've been searching adobe forums and NO you have not identified the problem!  I purchase a brand new M1 imac and installed adobe animate and I have lost all ability to create a file beyond the first day, i've been through 12 hours of your help and tech desk and i've recreated the file several times in different ways only to have the same thing happen 24 hours later!  THIS IS NOT FIXED.  I am no longer able to use adobe animate on a brand new machine that was recommended by adobe!  what is going on?!  i've lost a week and a half of hard work over this!!!

Can you please let me know as well? I'm really needing to use it, and cleaning out my fonts didn't work, so completely at a loss over here.

checking more than once per week isn't going to help.  you can expect it will take weeks to months before a "next" version of animate is released.

in the meantime, if you think this problem applies to you, remove or fix your corrupted fonts.

thanks!, the corrupted fonts fixed didn't work. Opted to download a previous version until the new one comes out.

Ok there is no way to solve this problem, so must restore the older version?

    Hi,

Is there any update on when this problem will be fixed?

I use animate as part of my after effects workflow but since I've updated my apps AE 2021 doesn't import my Animate 2020 files.
