Performace

I really like to draw in animate cc, I consider it one of the best software for that, however, with each update its performance has gotten worse, slow, crashing and a lot of lag traced. If you apply parenting layers, it is even slower.

PC configuration
memory: 16 gb
Processor: AMD FX(tm)-8350 Eight-Core Processor 4.00 GHz
GP: geforce gtx 1650 4gb

Anyone else have these problems?

    You know what they say when having issues with software uninstall and reinstall. Make sure you have the latest version 22.0.4.

    Willi and Chris,

     

    You, guys, might want to have a look at this thread, which in my opinion casts a lot of light on the internal functioning and the convoluted architecture of FLA files and the mess that Animate has become, post Advanced Layers.

    Again, in my opinion, the drastically worse performance of Animate in comparison to Flash is a consequence of all this.

    Hello my friend,

    I remember this thread and agree, the animate turned into a mess. Then there were several updates and the problem continues.

      Sadly, animate is in a terrible condition.

      Performance getting slower during the actual drawing? If so, what drawing tool do you notice this with? All of them or just one? You mentioned Layer Parenting so you are seeing performance issues throughout using all of Animate's features? It seems you meet the system requirements...

      Yes, it happens in real time. I use the brush and the line, both get lags. And when I use layer parenting, the all document slows down.
