If you have timeline markers in Multitrack, there’s no way to open them in Waveform view. If the markers are actually on the file in Multitrack, then these will open in Waveform view, and it’s possible to convert a series of individual markers to cue range markers although the chances of them actually turning out correctly isn’t good, because you are creating a range between one start point and the next one, which generally makes the ranges too long. And even if that was okay, you’d have to type in all of the range names anyway.

Unfortunately, if you want to do something like this in Audition you need to understand what’s possible from the outset, which helps you start in the correct place in terms of organising the files. It’s actually not a Multitrack task at all when it comes down to it.

This is a batch function, and only available from Waveform (Edit) view. The idea is that you edit your individual clips into clip ranges, and these can have individual names that will act as file names when you run the batch process. Find the batch process window in Windows menu), and drag and drop your files from the Markers window straight into it. You can now set the parameters you want using Export Settings, click on Run and wait for the process to complete.
