Accelerated elements for no reasons

Hi,

I'm starting a project in Adobe Audition with lot of stuff in.

We jumped our Premiere Pro Project into Audition to make the sound design efficiently and I having an issue over imported elements.

We got more than 100 tracks.

Some elements at the middle of our film are just accelerated. The sound isn't sync to the image anymore cause the element is speed up. I really don't understand where this problem come from. I'll say that the problem start at the middle of the movie and long till the end of the film.

When I check the loaded file with VLC, there is no problem at all. But in Audition, it's speed up.

There is no effect on anything cause I'm just starting the session.

I don't know what information to add...

And my deadlines are terribly short for the lenght of the project, so, this is an SOS, I don't have the time to mess with a really anoying problem...

Thanks.

Possibly those clips are a different sample rate to the session sample rate?

Maybe but the problem started in a specific moment in the timeline and till the end of the timeline... (no corelation with sample rate in the elements), from here I tried to reimport my premiere project to audition, wait all the mxf stuff and all to be converted into wave. And then move all the files next to the project folder (first ctrl S to start the copy) and ... every thing was fine.

So my guess is : Audition [fouled] up copying all my files [] me lot of time setting up the session ....

I'm not a pro in Sound and I don't specificly want to be pro. But hey, here I have no choice but Audition, and every time I used it it was a real pain. I feel it logical to prefer ProTools or Reaper hmm. (we wanted at first to work on reaper but it was hard to pass between premiere and Reaper without paying AAtranslator)

Moralty of all my experience here : for the future, have money and pay sound professionals.

    Or pay for AATranslator? ;-)

But seriously, it would be good to sort out out the cause so it can be fixed - maybe submit the session and a bug report?
