Adding reverb just for vocals

I recorded a live band this weekend using CUBASE 5 only because it gave me the option of recording 2 instruments and the vocals separately on 3 different channels. I was told I cannot do it on Adobe Audition 1.5, if I was given wrong info please let me know.

So now I have a WAV of the voice by itself without the instruments. The singer heard it and said I need to use the recording software to add a little reverb to that particular WAV (voice only). What is the easiest way to do this? thanks a lot everyone

Providing you have an audio interface with suitable drivers there is no reason why Audition 1.5 can't record Multitrack audio.

If you are more used to using Cubase why not use that for mixing your tracks together? Otherwise Audition 1.5 is fine for doing what you need.

Once you have all your separate .wav files inserted into a Multitrack session you can just right click on the FX button for the vocal track and select Rack Setup. Once there select one of the reverb options from Delay Effects. I suggest Studio Reverb for simplicity of use and once it is in the FX Rack you can click on the FX button to take you to the effect settings where you can try out some of the presets. If you find one that you like the sound of you can try experimenting with the settings to hear what happens when you change them. Thank you very much ryclark, I have always used adobe audition in the past and I prefer to stick to it as opposed to Cubase. I have never used Cubase and I am literally starting from scratch, but I must have been given the wrong info when I was told the older Adobe Auditions don't allow recording multitrack audio.

In the past I recorded the entire band together through the RCA outputs of my Dynacord mixer, but for the first time this past weekend I experimented recording all 3 members of the band separately. Thanks again for your input
