Hi,

Adobe Audition 22.5 not working with Creative Sounblaster AE-5 ASIO driver. Shows what "Device did not start". Is there some fix, or this problem will be fixed in future Audition updates?

If it says 'device did not start' that's a Creative problem, not an Audition one. Audition has asked your Soundblaster to start, and it hasn't. Even if it's a driver error, that's still a Creative issue; perhaps they have an updated driver? What you could also try is downloading ASIO4ALL and attempting to connect to it with that. This might reveal what's happening, as it has better diagnostics.

it's interesting, other audio programs (like Sibelius or Reaper) works with Creative ASIO with no problem. I use ASIO4ALL already but you know that is downgrade in audio quality and responsiveness.

The other thing to check is whether Audition is trying to start the SB with a different set of credentials - like a different sample rate, for instance. If you have the 'attempt to force hardware' button checked, see it it's any different with it unchecked.
