Adobe Audition 3.0 Issues

We have had issues where we could not have Adobe Audition 3.0 open while OMT software is open (broadcasting software). After resetting drivers, Adobe now asks to save the session but then permanently removes the files so they are lost and not retrievable. Is there way to get live suppport?

I realize Au3 was released years ago. Am I correct if we are up to Au12? We should consider an upgrade, but they have used this for years here. Any thoughts here?

This issue has been for a month or so where we cannot have OMT software open while Au3 is open. I resolved the issue, and the solution lasted for days this week! However, this morning it reverted back perhaps because I opened a previous session in the multisession that needed to have the drivers updated. Another thing I have discovered where I have not lost any more files is to exit the session than closing the individual elements in the multisession.
