Adobe audition audio track lag

The lag started when I downloaded Adobe 2024, it lags when I record and when I'm viewing an audio track. Any help?

You've told us nothing about your system, but the first thing to check (and go on checking on a regular basis) is whether there's been an updated video driver for it. Nvidia, for instance, update theirs frequently - like more than once a month. And it can make a significant difference to how the display functions. For anything beyond that, we'd need a lot more system information.

I'm in the same boat. I use Audition every day. Just after up updated, it now lags. This is compounding existing issues like the fact that multitrack pre-rendering can't be used (output stops after about 7 seconds). So, now performance has worsend and I have no workaround. I'm being plagued by 4 horrible issues with Audition. I've posted about them over the span of 1 year and none have ever been addressed. I pay a hefty subscription and there is no direct issue support.
