Since updating Adobe Audition CC 2017 last week, I can no longer go directly from pause to stop.

It did before.

Please help...

I tried your Vanilla mode, no help.

It is interesting that on other multitrack projects, I can be in pause and the stop button works, but not on my current project.

Must be something in the timeline affecting the program.

Ah, well you never mentioned that!

Try opening your session and resaving it under a different name, and in a different folder. This will have the effect of creating a different session file. If it doesn't work then, then you might need our session file expert to have a look at it...

I've just tried this here on the latest version, and using the mouse on the transport controls, this works fine. Whilst I can't imagine what in the preferences file might cause this, I'd suggest restarting Audition in 'vanilla' mode (hold the shift key down whilst starting) and see if this still happens. If it does, I suggest uninstalling and reinstalling Audition as being the next step.

What controls or buttons are you using to go from Pause to Stop that used to work for you? Were they custom keyboard shortcuts that you set up?
