Adobe Audition CC 2017 Freezing After Locating Files

Hey I am running The newest version of Audition cc 2017 and have a project I'm working on that was converted from a Premier CC project. I was working on it and getting it organized and everything worked fine, but this morning I opened the file and after reaching 100% on locating the audio files it froze and I had to force quit. This has been happening over and over I tried using the backups but it didn't work. Im running OS X 10.10.5 and all project files are on an external hard drive.

    Figured out the issue for anyone who has this problem in the future. The video file was too long even though it was a low quality 50 mb file. So the workaround is to bring the audition file into a different drive and disconnect the drive with the linked media. The file will then open so delete the video track, relink media and drop the video file back in. Hope this helps someone.
