Adobe Audition CC - Disjoint files when copying within a session

I don't know if anyone else has experienced this. My company just upgraded all of our machines to 11.1.1.3. It solved some of the problems I was experiencing with the previous version, but now I have new, more intrusive, issues:

1) When copying an entire promo within a multi track session, it will place the copied files over in disjointed fashion. Causing me to have to re-tweak the promo. A major pain and complete waste of time.

2) When I voice track and stop the recording. Resuming recording renders zero wave forms.  I know it's there because I can hear it on playback, but the visual wav is no where to be found.

Please help
