Hi

Whenever I select: "Export" - "Session" - and select "Include audio files"

My Audition crashes and completely shuts down losing all the hard work I've put into my project.

When I export session without including the audio files it doesnt crash but it doesnt save all my edits.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Much appreciated!

Unfortunately I suspect that they are being victims of their own success, since they've added an easy way to provide the information. Nevertheless I think that they do all get looked at. The only other thing you can do is to post all the information on this thread - if it's something blindingly obvious, we might be able to spot it...

So I actually got an answer!

Hi Julia,

Thank you for the bug report, and apologies that you experienced this issue.  We found this crash right after release and expect to have a fix in an update patch available very soon.  However, in our experience, this crash only occurs when exporting a session with a video file.  Can you confirm that you have a video file as part of this session?  Otherwise, we may need to investigate a bit further and make sure this isn’t a similar but different problem you’re experiencing.

Thank you,

Durin

Turns out I need to remove any video files (I was editing sound to match with video) and it works!

Thanks for your help!

Thanks Steve.

I've submitted a bug report. Unfortunately they state the following: "Due to the volume of submissions we receive, responses to inquiries are generally not possible."

So its not likely I will hear back/get my solution anytime soon..
