Adobe Audition CC2018 cant export in wav

Question

I have adobe audition cc2018 since one year now. Yesterday i close my computer and adobe audition lost all my preset and preference . I didnt mind it at all . But now i just found that i cant export my project in Wav . They all turned into AU files even if I set it to export in wav . Can someone help because its really frustrating . I dont want to export in mp3 i would like to keep it in loseless quality .

Try selecting wav, but when you enter the file name, type the extension out in full - so {myfile}.wav instead of just the file name. This should reset the default preference. Come back if that doesn't work...
