Adobe Audition CS5.5 won't record audio since OS Mojave Update

Hi,

I did the latest Mojave update on my iMac and now my Adobe Audition CS5.5 won't record audio. As a voiceover and radio presenter this is a bit of an issue. I've been sent standard replies from Adobe and Apple which state go into settings and approve the microphones in system settings. >   https://support.focusrite.com/hc/en-gb/articles/360001502689-I-cannot-get-audio-signal-into-my-software-since-upgrading-to-macOS-10-14-Mojave-on-my-Mac …

I've not had a dialog box which asks me to allow access and in mac settings it doesn't allow you to manually add the mic / external mic.

I've tried a different profile, my internal mic and usb mic are recognised and work with other apps just not with audition.

Does anyone have a clue how to get this working again?

I haven't backed up to time machine since june, so i'm loathed to do that unless i really have to!

Thanks

Michelle

Have you added Audition to the approved list of apps that can access the mic inputs as shown in your link? What options are shown in Audition's Audio Hardware preferences page for Device?

    Hi Ry

Under settings and privacy > mic it doesn't have any applications / programmes listed and there don't appear to be any ways to add them?

Under adobe audition hardware preferences My device input is either my internal mic or my AT2020 USB which is my external mic, depending if i have it plugged in or not.

No dialogue box came up in audition and there doesn't seem to be a way to add programmes/devices through mojave settings and privacy > mic settings

    Any other ideas?

    Thanks for your help!

Not really the answer to your question but...

Audition CS5.5 is now a very old version!  Could it be that it is no longer compatible with MAC Mojave OS?  (Like ryclark, I'm a Windows user so have no direct experience of using a MAC.)
