Adobe Audition export taking 3 times as long as it did last week

I use audition to edit podcasts and have done for years. Usually export times for a 2 track basic podcast with a few effects would take a matter of minutes but for the past few weeks, export times have at least tripled. I haven't changed any settings in Audition.

I have recently updated by MacOS to version 10.13.2 I don't know if that's making a difference. Whether its my laptop or Adobe. Could it be a storage issue with my Mac? Anything I should be trying? Thanks in advance!
