Adobe Audition multitrack screen opens up as a separate window.

I'm hoping someone can help me with this. I've been doing Zoom Adobe training with someone who uses two screens for their administrative workflow. The issue is, when they open an Audition project on their end, the multitrack window is blank. We did find a blue multitrack option in one of the left hand panes. But when they click on it, it opens the multitrack in a separate window, sort of floating above the background screen. Is there a way to embed the multitrack window back into the multitrack screen? I'm sure it has something to do with their use of duel screens, but I have no clue how to fix it.
