Adobe Audition - Normalize and clean up several files at once

Hello,

As I didn't get any answer in the French section, I try my luck here.

I have about 2500 audio files to process (recorded words or sentences) and I would like to apply the same normalization and noise reduction on each file.

Processing them individually is a possibility, but it would take a long time!

Is it possible to normalize and apply noise reduction to all these files (or in batches to make it less cumbersome) in one go?

If so, how?

It would save me a lot of time!

Thank you in advance for your answers which I hope will be positive!

If you can establish a Favorite (or possibly one for each) that carries out the operation you want on a single file, then all you have to do is put your files in the Batch Processor and leave it to get on with it. Just drop the files into the batch space, and set up the parameters you want - it's reasonably straightforward.

This video on YouTube by Mike Russell may help you here.

However the best noise reduction relies on taking a sample "noise print" from the file

to have the noise reduction applied to the clip.

If the noise to be removed is "the same' on all files this may work.

Otherwise you may have to use dynamics:

Hope this provides a starting point.
