Adobe Audition-Playing Overlapped Portions Of Clips In Multitrack

Hi, I have a bit of an issue with the latest Adobe Audition upgrade-in previous versions (prior to and including 2019), there was a handy checkbox in the 'Multitrack' menu, just above the 'track visibility' submenu and below the 'check for Keyframe editing' command entitled 'play overlapped portions of clips'. For some reason, this was always automatically unchecked in previous versions, which was fine as I could  easily check it. In this version however, not only is it automatically set to not play overlapping clips together, but the tick box doesn't seem to be there-not in the usual place, anyway. I need to know the new keyboard shortcut for enabling overlapped portions of clips, if someone can help me-as the mouse isn't really an option, or at the very least, a mouse command of some kind that resets this permanently.

I tried customer care-and thought we were getting somewhere, but eventually the guy at the other end of the chat told me there was no way of playing overlapped portions of clips, perhaps in frustration. I'd be amazed if there wasn't a way of doing this though, somehow-as for me at least, being able to hear 2 tracks cimaltaniusly in a multitrack that's meant to be overlaid is vital.

If anyone can be of assistance, I'd be greatful.

Thanks in advance,

Ben.

With the multitrack view selected, Alt+3 or right click the timeline or it's in the Window menu.

Hi again, thanks for the reply-I can't try this right now, though I will do in the next few days and will get back to you when I have (it sounds like it'll work though).

Thanks again.

Sorry to be a pain, but can you tell me where/how to reach the session properties exactly?

You posted in the wrong forum, this is the Captivate forum. I will move your question to the Audition forum.
