Adobe Audition - Staying in the dark

A new release of Adobe Audition. And you can have any Appearance you want so long as it is a shade of black.

Adobe are still not listening. Some of us have a hard time seeing and working with dark colours on the screen.

Why is there still no light coloured option or options for Appearance?

Frustrated

I've quite using Audition and I'm back on Reaper.  It's easier to see and very adaptable.

Incredible I use a 4K monitor and setting the monitor to 1920 * 1080 makes it slightly better. Still the dark mode seems to be flawed. The menu has a Light background. The icons below are grey(?) on black

I am learning Audition. It seems to be a fine tool. However, I use it with a UHD monitor and the mix of black and small letters make it very difficult to use. There are many options (under appearance), but these options are all very similar. Please help!

If any one else has the same problem, I must mention that sliding the cursor to Lighter for Interactive Controls (General) helps a little.

I'm with you on this.  Pro Tools has a vastly better UI, for visuals.

Over the last year there have been three requests on this U2U forum to let users change all the background colours. That's out of several million users. Now I'm not claiming that there aren't far more people wanting to do this if they could, but compared to the number of corporate users who don't prioritise this as an issue, it only amounts to a very small percentage. And apart from one other factor, it's percentages that the developers are told to respond to. Quite reasonable - this is what pays their wages. The other factor pays their wages directly, and that is Adobe Corporate - and I believe it is they that have said that grey is the corporate look, and will give no quarter on this. They said this over a decade ago, and nothing's changed.

Whilst personally it doesn't bother me, I do understand why people might want to be able to 'skin' the app. But seriously, I don't think you are going to get that option whilst the corporate users have other concerns - if you see what I mean...

I hate the black. Who do I complain to?
