Adobe Audition triggers the center button on my MX Master Mouse to be clicked

Adobe Audition triggers the center button on my MX Master Mouse which toggles the scroll wheel to clicky mode.

Its bugged me for the longest time that it would seemingly randomly switch to the clickety ratchety scroll wheel thingy on my MX Master Mouse, but I upgraded and the same thing is happening with the new mouse. I started keeping track of when it would do it. Its anytime I open Audition or click within a Audition window. I can click outside to another program, and it switches back to normal. Go back to Audition, and ratcheted scroll wheel immediately. Super frustrating. I've given up and just use a trackpad and my tourbox, which is unfortunate cause i have some cool shortcuts assigned on the MX mouse

Is there a way to fix this?
