Adobe Audition v23.2 is available!

Adobe Audition v23.2 is available for download from Creative Cloud Desktop app. This update provides stability & performance improvements along with bug fixes.
To update the app, open Creative Cloud desktop application and click the Updates tab on the top left. Find Audition in the list and click Update.

 

Issues fixed in Audition v23.2

  • Audition crashes when recording and disconnecting the device.
  • Improved stability for VST3 effects.
  • Audition hangs when entering a network path in the 'Save-as' dialog.
  • Improved frequency analysis for multi-channel files.

Hello,
It seems the ability to save as .WAV for Libsndfile Encoding was removed (see screenshot). I went back to previous version of Audition (23.1) and I was able to save in .WAV with libsndfile Encoding again. 
Update 23.2 forces to save in .nist file.

Any word about the missing .wav extensions in Libsndfile? Is it a bug that'll be fixed or is gone for good. I don't have the rights to downgrade to a working version?  Need this to covert .wavs for Cisco CCE.

Yep fixed in 23.3, .wavs with ulaw are avail again

I just used the updated version it crashed, and all of my audio is gone.

Do not install if you use a iMac M1. It keeps crashing. I rolled back a version.

Update won't install. Yes, I already tried all suggestions related to fix this problem, even adjusting rights with Auditions registry entry, but Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool.
Please confirm if this is necessary, because not being sure if this could cause to uninstall all other programs.
A newer update (Premiere Pro 23.2) went through flawlessley.

It better fix the damage the crash just did to a day's work.  I was finished and about to save. Now I see the whole thing, but not all of it plays. I might be done with this app
