Adobe Audition v23.6 is available!

Adobe Audition v23.6 is available for download from Creative Cloud Desktop app. This update provides stability & performance improvements along with bug fixes.
To update the app, open Creative Cloud desktop application and click the Updates tab on the top left. Find Audition in the list and click Update.

 

Issues fixed in Audition v23.6

  • Audition hangs up without quitting completely when the user is signed out.
  • Assert on enabling Edit metronome pattern > Play.
  • Assert on deleting time-selection at the end of an audio file using the Delete key and Edit > Delete option while the selection is playing.

    I have a bad issue when recording. The recording line is lagging and no audio is recorded. I did not have this issue back in July and start of August. Switching microphone does not fix the issue

    Thank you all for reporting this bug. Today we have released a patch(23.6.1) containing the fix for this problem. Please update your Audition(In case update is not showing up, try Creative Cloud->Help->Check for updates) .

    I began having the issue today where when using the detect silence option to shorten silences in my audio, it deletes non-silent parts of my audio when I try to batch shorten. The workaround was shortening the silences one at a time. 

    This is a new issue, to my knowledge and was only a problem when I tried to shorten silences multiple at a time.

    23.6 caused an issue where there was an error each time I opened a Multitrack session.  I reverted to the previous version, which deleted all of my settings (even though I chose the option to save them).  I'm back up and running on 23.5.0.48.  CC shows the update available for 23.6 that made my system unstable, which I'll obviously not install.  How will I know when there is a fixed version of an update?  I lost a lot of valuable time dealing with the issues 23.6 caused.  Thanks.

    Ever since this morning's update my waveform does not match my audio. There is an audio delay. It doesn't affect the wave but I edit a daily radio show and I can no longer rely on my edits. Anyone else having this problem? I tried rebooting and I tried resetting my audio. No change. Thx.

    When using the program with operation Declicker,

    it scans the file and if it wants to repair it, the program closes itself.
