Adobe speech enhancer (premium) making audio file worse

I have a Premium subscription to Adobe AI speech (podcast) enhancement. The resulting file is worse than the original. A strange warble is added to the voice that is not present in the original audio file. I tried to see if I could play with the percentage enhancement to see if it would make a difference, but it seems permanently fixed at 90%. (I can move the setting on the % bar, but it still yields a 90% enhancement.)

      The "community" guidelines explicitly say it is not for product questions, so I don't understand why my question would be moved there (which I don't see anywhere), or why it would be recommended.
