Allen & Heath QU-16 with Adobe Audition on Mac

Greetings Adobe Audition experts! In the coming week I will be attempting to record multitrack audio from an Allen & Heath QU-16 on a MacBook Pro with OS 10.14. I will be using Thunderbolt adapters to connect the USB cable from the QU-16 to the Mac. Has anyone done this before and found it to work easily, or are there difficulties that I need to be aware of? At this time, I don't have the mixer at hand so I have not done my own experimenting yet.
