Any Suggestions for effects on vocals on my track

Hi

Im new to adobe audition and 

I have this audio track of my grandfather meditating on a single word and wanted anyones ideas of the best effects i could use to give it an enhanced listening experience. And a more proffesional finish in anyway possible (if that makes any sense)

I dont want to put any echo, but anything to make it sound perhaps more clearer with a bit of bass and if any reduction of background sounds,

Any suggestions or help will be much appreciated
