API to use favorite?

I know Adobe has an API but I can't find info if it can do what I'd like, which is the following:

call the API with a music file name and folder location, and then use one my of Audition favourites to process that file, and return if it worked or not.

Please, is this possible, if so, could someone post some links, examples, resources etc that could help?

I am currently using the latest version on a 7 day trial, and mention that only to get across I would be using the most recent Audition version.
