Audio Dropping While Recording

Today Audition suddenly started dropping audio while recording. I have not changed anything or added any additional software or hardware. 

My set up:

MacBook Pro 15" 2018 2.6 GHZ 6 Core i7 16GB Ram OS 11.1 

Focusrite Scarlet 18i20 v2 as clock source, sample rate 48khz

RodecasterPro sample rate 48khz

They are set as an aggregate device with drift crrection on both as per Apple.

Audition matches these settings.

This is only happening in Audition and does not happen when recording in Logic Pro.

I have changed the clock source, rebooted the computer and hardware to not avail. 

I'm at a complete loss as to why this is happening
