Question

Audio gets really choppy.

Here's my issue:

I recorded a once in a lifetime opportunity interview with a candidate for governor.

It starts off okay for about 3 minutes and then cuts to audio similar to this: https://soundcloud.com/user-244935076/adobe-audition-issue/s-rc7LS

Is there any way to fix this? I checked both the original wav file recorded in Audition, and the final mixdown and both have the same issue.

This happened on Adobe Audition CC 2019 (Build 12.0.0.241).

I need to have this fixed by Nov. 5th end of day or this project is wasted.

Thanks,

Kendall

Neither of your links works, I'm afraid. But if your original audio's choppy, then the chances of being able to fix it are absolutely minimal, probably to the point of being non-existent anyway. One of the reasons that I won't ever record anything important using any software product (not just Audition) is precisely because of this; you have no idea what else is going to be interfering with the process.

Even a hand-held portable recorder is going to be more reliable from this point of view, as nothing else in it can interfere with the recording process.
