Audio hardware keeps randomly crashing

Question

Ever since the latest updates, I keep getting an error where it tells me an issue with my hardware has come up even if I am in the middle of using it. It typically happens after i export something.

I never had this issue before the latest update, and now this will happen several times during a session where I need to close and re open. I have checked the hardware and nothing has changed on my Hardware.

On the face of it, it looks as though another app may be grabbing your hardware. Hot favorite for this is System Sounds, but there may well be other culprits as well. The active socket sensing can also produce hardware warning messages too. If you click on 'More ...', what extra information does it give you?
