Audio is too low, can't retrieve it

     Hi everyone,

I need help. something went wrong when recording an audio interview. the sound was too low, it didn't even display waves in Audition CC 2017. I amplified the sound, so now I can hear one of the speakers clearly, but the other one is very fainted, I tried different background reduction filters, but no luck.. it seems that the background noise is on a higher level than the other speaker voice. at least it is louder than hers.

Does anyone have any solutions?
