Audio passthrough line noise, in Audition, but not Quicktime.

I'm trying to record audio via a USB interface (Behringer UCA200) connected to my mixing desk (Behringer XENYX1204FX) via phono.

If I record in QuickTime the audio is clean and crisp, but when I use Audition with the same setup I get a lot of line noise/interference.

Setup is the same otherwise, any reason why this would be the case? Is audition just more sensitive?
