audio preferences pop up randomly

After the recent update of Adobe Cloud to Auditiion 2026,  I constantly get the pop up of Audio Preferences, even though I haven’t changed anything.   Now it stops in the middle of recordings and is killing my productivity.   Seems its just come about with the upgrade to 2026.  I want back to 2025 but that didn’t seem to solve the issue.    Ideas, fix, patch?    thanks

    I suspect that Windows has changed something to do with Active Sensing in an update - you don’t appear to be the only person with audio connectivity issues…

    What in particular are you doing when it stops?

    i am just recording.. i thought, initially, that it stops recording  when i push a hot key for music bed on my rodecaster, but it just stops regardless… seems to keep posted that pop up for AUdio Preferences changing…

    It is certainly a little concerning, as recording is supposed to take top priority whan it’s happening, so random stops really shouldn’t happen,  Have you tried the Beta release to see if the same thing happens?
