Audio Recorded as Square Wave/Rounded

I am recording audio from an Audio Technica mic through a Yamaha TF5 into Audition. Every other time I've done this, I've had no issues. Maybe low levels, but that's it. This time, however, the audio sounds like a robot practicing tones. Is there any way to revert this to the audio of a person speaking? Or is it too compromised to fix?

Here's a screenshot of the waveform and sample audio.

Something has gone terribly wrong with that recording. No way to recover anything useful from it I'm afraid. You'll need to try and find what went wrong. How is the audio getting from the mixer into Audition?
