Audio sync drift, podcast editting

Question

I have to edit a podcast every week with 4 tracks. They are all in sync with each other, but the audio is not in sync with the levels that I see in Audition. So if I want to cut out some parts, I have to listen and kind of guess where to cut, in stead of seeing the part I can cut out.

It's really annoying and I'd like to fix it. It happens every time, I already tried using a mac instead of windows, which did not help, still got the problem. I now use Audition CC on a Mac.

Generally when this happens, it's because your video driver isn't up to date, but if it's happening both on a Mac and a PC - well that might be different. What is the latency size you have set for your audio driver?
