Hi,  I accidentally deleted an audio file in waveform. Is there any chance I can get it back?

On a Mac here.

 

@Richard M Knight is right: if you recorded it in Audition and didn't save it before deleting it, it's probablty gone.

 

If you opened the file from your drive and then deleted it using the trash can above the files it'll still

be on the drive.

 

If you deleted it IN the waveform view and then saved it either on closing or by using save in the file menu

then the file will be there but blank.

If you are using Windows (you haven't said) have you tried looking in the Recycle Bin? I presume that Macs have something similar...

Is it a file you recorded or one that was already on your hhd?

Ah, if it was never saved even once after recording, sadly, it is likely gone.
