Audition 2018 and 2020 not able to save session 24 bit

I have doing quite few multitrack recordings using 16bit and not having problems at all then I did few sessions as 24 bit and the recordings go smooth and nicely however when I try to save session the application halts at 99% and is not able to comple save command. As now Ive been waiting for 20 minutes and task manager showed the application working until just now - not responding. I am using MAC High sierra.

after trying to rearrange my recordings manually I gave up!! I cleaned up the .xml template file manually (it was total mess). Once done with that I exported the sessions as OMF and started again from there a new session. Now its working pretty good. I belive something vent wrong when I created my sessions based on custom template by going File/Export/Session as template.

Has anybody experienced this??

I might add to this thread - when creating the sessions, I am having trouble saving, I created a custom template. Is it possible that my template is causing this? I that case is it possible to replace template with default template?

...what I did was creating a new session (this time as 16bit 48000 the original was 24bit 48000). I then imported the recorded files from the old session (took some time to place them correctly in sync): Once completed I saved the session without any problem....so I guess something vent wrong when I created my old template. Prior to this I tried to change the sample rate as explaned in https://www.google.com/search?q=audition+change+sample+rate+of+session&oq=audition+change+sample+rat&aqs=chrome.2.0j69i57j0l6.21777j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8#kpvalbx=_rwWGXvKREIKZkwWU_4vQBw23 but since it did not solve my issue I managed to come around this issue his way.
