Audition 2019 clock sync strangeness

OK, this is weird.
Playback breaks up if the sound card clock rate is set the same as the file rate. If the clock is set to 44.1k, a 44.1k file will break up on playback, but a 48k will play fine. Same problem the other way around.  Recording seems OK.
NOTE: This problem does NOT occur with Audition CS6 or Audition 2018, only Audition 2019.

There seems to be firmware and drivers available for this sound card. Have you checked that both are up to date?

Also, it may be a good idea to look and see if there is software or a control panel provided with the software. If you open that can you set the sampling rate in here too? This may help with the issue you are having.

Hi Mike.  I'm not finding firmware updates for the Digigram.  I'm using the latest drivers, so far as I can tell.  (Dated March 2017)

The software I'm using is Audition 2019.  I've played around with changin the sample rate there too, no luck.

Again, this doesn't happen with earlier versions of Audition, so I'm not sure what to think.  Sort of a perfect-storm obscure bug between this version and this sound card, I think.

    Thanks,

    John
