Audition 2023: Adding marker to file jumps view back to start

When adding a cue marker to an audio file, the playhead stays stationary but the view always jumps back to start of file. How do I stop this behavior? Very annoying.

Thanks for pointing out. It's end of June 2023 and I stumbled upon the same issue, too. Please, @Adobe, could you fix this problem as soon as possible?

It's fixed in the current beta, so will almost certainly be fixed in the main release. If you are that bothered, use the beta - it appears to be completely stable.

PLEASE FIX THIS!!! It adds time to already very intriquite, highly detailed, and time-intensive work! PLEASE!!! I shouldn't have to "go back" to a previous version when I'm paying for the continuous "forward" use of these tools! PLEASE JUST FIX IT!!! It's been long enough! Thank you so much!

I also find this new bug annoying. Wondering why it's taking so long to fix it.

Happy to be a beta tester if it will help get rid of these issues before release.

Anybody can be a beta tester now - just download the beta version via the CC app and put your observations on the beta forum. But I'll tell you now that it's unlikely to resolve all the issues that you might come across before a release, and that's simply because you won't find them all. I've been involved with the previous beta arrangements before the current one, and I can tell you that several hundred beta testers managed to miss things that you might have thought were obvious, on several occasions. Nobody is that good.

Thought this was a "close and restart" bug.

Come on Adobe, you can do way better. Because of silly bugs like these (and still not having "bins" or "folders" for files wtf) Audition is lagging.

OMG I can't believe they are still NOT TESTING their releases. They fix a years old, incredibly dumb bug only to introduce another. I'm once again on the verge of cancelling my subsription. Audition has been the same for 10+ years except for varying bugs.

beta does the same thing... anything you do to markers, will jump view to the start of the file... it's not unnoying, it's simply asking to be smashed with keyboard....
