Audition 2024 unable to open .WAV, cites AmioLSF plug-in Error

Hello!

 

I just installed Audition 2024 on my macOS Sonoma 14.5 today. When I tried to import a WAV file, I got the following error message:

 

Error: AmioLSF plug-in could not open the file. Code: 1. Unrecognized Format.

 

I'm not familiar with the message and the latest forum post I found about it was from 2017. Help?

Have you found a fix for this, because I am getting the same thing for MP3 and Wav Files.

I never got a specific answer and tbh, I don't remember what happened to fix it... I haven't had any issues since this summer. I think it was a specific file that I kind of just ended up giving up on. Sorry you're dealing with the same issue and that I can't be of any help here! If anyone else knows, I'm still very interested to understand the issue.
