Audition CC 2018 on W10 with REALTEK HD. Recording problem. Mike OK on speakers but is ignored by Audition CC. Solution?

No I'm afraid not. Audition only records the audio that audio interface sends to it. What sort of levels are you seeing on Audition's meters? Normal recording levels would be between -18 and -9 dBFS on the meters. What mic are you using?

Do you see the Realtek as a Device in Audition's Preferences/Audio Hardware and have it selected?

Thank you. Realtek is selected. I found just now that the mike signal enters the Audition CC but at a very very low level. Mike and speakers work fine but mike an audition not. Realtek recording is set at 100% level. Is it any way to adjust Audidition to work with very low level mike signals?
