Audition CC and AutoTune Graphic mode error/doesn't work

Hi all,

I am a musician that has over the past years began recording my band.  all is great with Audition.  Until I decided to try Autotune..  I got version 8 and tuned my track.

all sounds good.  UNTIL I unmute and listen to everything.  Then the tracks is back to UN-TUNED.  I solo track and it is TUNED.  I try'd to bound track out muted so I get the tuned portion and it doesn't work.

I have worked for months non stop trying to get Graphical Mode to work....the Auto Mode works fine...but, is a blunt tool.  I need graphical mode.

ProTools tutorials have figured out the work around.  Create a new track and bus signal to another new track...then tune the 1st bus and record on second track.  But how do you do that in Audition!?

I love audition and have spent close to 5 years making it my tool of choice...don't want to leave it!

Please help

If I understand you correctly you need to record the output of one track/bus to another track.

This can be done but generally only if your audio hardware supports it or you have some other software to assist.

I use an RME FF800 and this allows a 'feedback loop' to be setup so that you can set the output of one track to a particular hardware output and set the input of another channel to that same hardware channel, select 'feedback' on that channel (in the RME software) and press record and job done.

While you probably don't have an RME device your hardware might allow similar and if not I at least hope this gives you a starting point to pursue this further

I have found some autotune pro tutorials that are well explained. The thing is the website is in spanish, but you can translate it with google translate.
I hope it helps you to start with. I have been using autotune for less than 3 months and at the begining it can be really hard

AWESOME!  You guys are awesome!!!!  I use Scarlett 18i by focusright.  I am sure I can bus and arm another track to record it.  If not, option two looks like it will work.   Thanks again!  I appreciate your help!!!
