AUDITION CC2019: When is it okay to delete these large cache files?

I understand that the program generates large cache files while working to make history and changes accessible.  But once a file is past that stage of work, may I safely delete these fast-growing cache files, so the system doesn't bog down?

There are two I see:

And then, as set in Preferences by Adobe Tech Support for me -- this "Shared Media Cache Database", which includes a "Clean" button that I am itching to hit:

    Since it's only a record of moved or deleted files, you can clean it with impunity!
